Achievement of target of ICDS depends upon the AWW that how effectively they provide help and motivate & educate the community for better childcare. For this purpose UP government has started this training program.
Under this scheme, training is given to the ICDS officers/ workers/ Mukhya Sevika.
- Training of child development project officers/ Dist. Program officers – In these scheme new joined officers have been trained in
NIPCCD regional center, Lucknow.
- Training of Mukhya Sevika – Five middle level training centers are running to train these Mukhya Sevika. Work training for 80 days has been given to these Mukhya Sevika at these training centers. After the completion of training there is provision of retraining for eleven days.
