ICDS Directorate, Uttar Pradesh is dedicated for improving nutritional, health and educational status of children upto 6 years of age, pregnant women and lactating mothers belonging to weaker sections of the society.

Govt. of India and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh have been providing budgetary support for various interventions for ensuring holistic development of children with particular focus on meeting their needs of sound health, supplementary nutrition and joyful learning. World Bank, CARE, WFP and UNICEF have also provided substantial assistance and valuable guidance for the programme.

Our endeavour is to serve the target group more and more effectively so that the children and women from the deprived class of society are free from disease and ignorance.
