Women and child development department, Human Resource welfare Ministry has been started life Insurance Policy for Anganwadi workers & Anganwadi Helpers. Benefits of this Scheme are following:-

  1. Rs. 20,000/- is given to the nominator after the normal Death of worker.
  2. Rs. 50,000/- is given to the nominator in the case of Accidental Death.
  3. Rs. 20,000/- is given in the case of serious disease to women.
  4. Rs. 25,000/- is given to the Insured person in case of disability of one eye or one hand or one leg.
  5. Rs. 50,000/- is given to the Insured person in case of disability of eyes or both hand and legs or one eye and one hand or one leg.

For special benefits:-

After the membership of one year, maximum two children of every member can get the help of Rs. 300/- quarterly for the Education of 9 to 12.

Premium:-

It is necessary for every Insured person to give Installment of Rs. 80/- per year.

Renewal:-

Renewal is necessary after one Year of Insurance.

Claim:-

In the case of Death /Accidental Death/Disability, it is necessary that Claim will be file at Pension and Group Insurance division of LIC with the help of Nodal Officer with the Certificate.

To implement this Scheme, details Instructions and required format/Documents/Claim form has been Published to all District Program Officer with the letter no. C-1391 dated 7/12/04.
